Ordering and Payment Details
Photographs
I will need a clear picture to work from and please remember that the detail and quality of the final portrait is directly related to the photograph you send. It is helpful to send a few photographs ,
which I can use as a reference for personality and colouring etc.
If there is anything which you do not want in the final picture, such as collars and leads, I can
easily omit them. If taking a picture of an animal yourself, it is better if you can get down on the same level as them and try to avoid aiming the camera down on them.
If all you have is an old photograph and the animal has passed away I will have a look at the
picture and see what I can do.
It normally takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete a commission. Christmas is a really busy time so please try to order in plenty of time.
If you have left it to the last minute for a birthday or anniversary I will try to do my best to finish it in time.

How to Order
Portraits are drawn on high quality, heavyweight fabriano paper and mounted ready to frame.
Pastel portraits are painted on either velour or mi-teintes paper and mounted ready to frame.
I use ivory mountboard, but if you have a preference in colour please let me know.
All portraits will fit in standard sized frames which are available to buy ready made.
I will e-mail a photo of the portrait when it is finished for your approval. Remember, there is no obligation to buy unless you are completely happy. Once approved I will require that you pay.
As soon as I receive you payment I will send your portrait special next day delivery ( this is
insured against loss or damage). All portraits are carefully packed in between a rigid, lightweight plastic sheet.
